The Catholic Psychology and Psychotherapy Conference brings together Catholic mental health professionals — psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, coaches, and pastoral workers — for a day of intellectual and professional engagement rooted in Catholic anthropology and values.
The conference is intended as the start of sustained collaboration between the two co-producing organisations. It opens with Mass and a reception on the Friday evening, followed by a full day of talks and panels on the Saturday at St Wilfrid's Hall, Brompton Oratory.
The International Catholic Association of Therapy and Coaching is an international association with members across multiple countries. It maintains a directory of vetted Catholic professionals, a principles framework, and a code of ethics, and has held events including a London gathering in October 2025.
Catholics in Psychology is a grassroots network founded in 2022 by Samuel Chan and Alys Winstanley, bringing together young Catholic psychologists and mental health advocates across the UK and Ireland. Their first conference, in Dublin in October 2025, opened with Mass.
